I do not think that we know they will not use a nuclear device. They have sponsored acts of terrorism where innocent civilians are the targets. Examples are the suicide bombers in Israel, World Trade Center Attack, the Oct 7 attack of the music festival in Israel. The US has a good track record of not using Nukes post WWII. It is believed that Israel has nuclear capability but they have never used it.

I do agree with you concerning the USA bombing fishing boats and invading countries.

You really think they would use it offensively? I don't. It would be used as a deterrent like everyone else does. Using it means the nuclear destruction of the Country. Same with North Korea. To them, it is a golden ticket NOT to be attacked or invaded.

If anything, this little endeavor or Trump's and Bibi's moves them and others closer to getting one. There biggest fear is invasion and we showed we will attack. I would be more concerned with China or Russia giving them the tech and even a working warhead than developing it themselves.

They might not launch an ICBM or short range missile but they would probably do like they do with conventional weapons. Sell them to Syria, ISIS type groups, Hezbollah, etc. for that group to do a dirty bomb, truck bomb or plant a nuke in Israel or on a cargo ship bound for the US.

Inspections were obviously ineffective. Enriching apparently never stopped. Inspectors can only go where someone has gone before. They don't get to go to any sites they don't know about. Iran is not a small country. Lots of places to hide stuff. Lots of black market to work with.
