I suspect many Americans agree with RGIII

IIRC, I read somewhere that he also bought a couple stuffed squirrels. He also bought plenty of clothing: hats, boots, a shirt, and, I think, hats & boots for his teammates.

Check out his video on the trip to the store in Dallas:

I think I heard somewhere else that that shopping spree was his only break whole in Dallas.

I saw that. Fantastic. I was the UPS rep for Nokona boots. I loved visiting there.

I didn't watch the games but I enjoyed all the hype and the fan excitement. It's great to know the players got caught up in it too. From Haaland to the player from Cape Verde there are plenty of examples of players with wonderful experiences.

You do not have to watch the games. I have not watched any of them, relying on clips of the rare goal. I did watch part of team USA's final game but they played terribly so I lost interest.

It's easy for me to say "don't watch" since I'm not a soccer fan. I cheered for team USA because I'm an American patriot and I got caught up in all the hype because the foreigners were having a grand time in the US and I'm an American patriot. That's it.

I watched a number of games with various countries, but mostly trying to figure out the rules. A bit like the SWC in the 1970s, if the officials like you there are things you can do which get called fouls by the other team, and vice versa.

I wonder how much that happens today with the blue bloods. Same with MBB & WBB.

Well, seems as though young Jared's brother is trying to buy/invest in FIFA and Mercanize it. UAEFA said " uh, we don't think so, and FIFA if you do get in bed with them, 59 member countries (including European Teams) will say eff YOU to the World Cup. You don't think Piggy greased those skids? Major backlash.
