This was certainly true last night. OTOH, I hadn't seen Belgium play very well before last night. Maybe they were just coasting before, but they were close to getting eliminated. Then they looked like the best defensive team in the world last night.

You do not have to watch the games. I have not watched any of them, relying on clips of the rare goal. I did watch part of team USA's final game but they played terribly so I lost interest.

It's easy for me to say "don't watch" since I'm not a soccer fan. I cheered for team USA because I'm an American patriot and I got caught up in all the hype because the foreigners were having a grand time in the US and I'm an American patriot. That's it.

I watched most of the game yesterday but got kinda bored toward the end and went out to cut the grass. I have been out of town for 10days so the yard looked like a jungle. After England got eliminated I didnt really care which team won,
