Not enough data to say that, Florda. It's entirely possible that factors already discussed, like population density and the inability to avoid buses and subway for transportation were serious factors.

I had fever and flu in January along with others in the office. I took Tami-flu and had a fever for 3 days but it was fairly mild although I did miss some work and have a dry cough for a few days I could not shake. I'm starting to think I need to get an antibody test if they do that nearby. If I did have it I would donate blood plasma to help someone out.

If you mean "Did China create the coronavirus in a lab?" then the evidence so far says their hands are clean. Keeping misinformation in play without better proof just for political points is counter-productive.

Not so much if you are referring to their handling of the flow of information. That was predicated on politics and is a valid tool against them.

But at this point in the thread we are talking about the creation of the virus.

We know China manipulated data at the very least. That gives reason to be suspicious about the creation of the virus as well.

Personally, I believe the outbreak was accidental and most likely caused by the wet market. That's consistent with past outbreaks from China. But I certainly think any and all statements from the PRC should be scrutinized with skepticism and a demand for proof.

By the way, you should hear what's being said in Singapore, Taiwan, and Japan. Nothing Trump has said is remotely as angry as the noise from those countries.

Wet market or inadvertent release from a lab.... China unleashed the C-19 virus resulting in the deaths of thousands of people and catastrophic economic damage throughout the world .

There is no point wasting resources in 'punishing' China as it is not possible or practical to do so .

But acknowledging China's culpability isn't wrong either .
