Right on my brother! Barr did not say anything that would preclude what the Trump legal team is pursuing although I'm not real sure about Barr's motive. There are now 2 ways Trump wins this battle:1) The state legislatures REFUSE to certify either candidate bc there is too much evidence and testimony that CANNOT be ignored, and/or 2) Trump will declare a national emergency.

When you have the possibility of D's controlling all 3 branches as Joe diGenova said, that will be Armageddon using his metaphor. Therefore, with his exec order from Sept 2018 in place he has every Constitutional right to declare a national emergency and I think he set this chess game up by getting rid of Esper.

There are extremist views on both ends of the spectrum. If you discount the extremists, then generally speaking Democrats and Republicans each want freedom and to follow the constitution. The biggest difference lies in the amount and type of government services a programs and how to fund them. I don't know of any mainstream Democrats or Republicans who want to change the Constitution. There are some who are for certain social programs such as health care. So far our less than perfect democratic form of government has proven to provide the most individual freedoms and individual rights than any other form of government in history. In a democracy you can out vote the extremists, and if the extreme comes in power you can vote them out, which is far better than an authorial form of government.
