No they're not good enough offensively. Right draw and they could maybe reach the E8. Personally think they'll be out R2

Losing to a potential Top 10 team on their court is not the end of the world….but the way TT just took control and kept us at an arms length the last 10 minutes did not look good at all. Never felt like we were in it the last 10 and looked overmatched.

Expected a loss, most reasonable fans probably did. Those expecting to go 6-0 or even 5-1 over the final stretch we're severally underestimating the loss of JTT. I'll be happy if we finish the last 5 at 3-2. The defense just isn't good enough currently to win games in this league against good teams

Don't disagree with that, but some of the iso is because a couple of guys stand around like statues and unfortunately he's made the same cross court passing mistakes even back to his Georgetown days, so that's probably not gonna change. Last year, Drew would have been able to sit him when he made those types of mistakes and replace him with someone just as good. Just don't have that luxury now so you've gotta go with what you have.

We go from outrebounding UT 42-32 Saturday, to getting outrebounded by Tech 41-30, including 14 offensive boards. That's gotta be one of worst rebounding differentials in awhile for the Bears.

Yeah Akinjo ain't perfect but he's not the problem.

I like KB but I'm not getting maximum effort right now from him..at first I excused it because he's one of those gliders who looks effortlessly.

But there were several rebounds he had position and wasn't strong to the ball or use his leaping ability to get it

We had more issues than just FTs tonight….but going 12 for 21 for 57% from the line is piss poor. Meanwhile TT was 24 for 30 for 80%.

KB definitely looks and plays timidly underneath, almost like he's underconfident or something. We intimidated so many teams last year because we had grown men and many of them had young, KB types so I guess now the shoe is on the other foot.

My question if drafting KB… do you love basketball? Some dudes play bc they're great athletes or they think they're supposed to.

It's more common in big men, in that they play because they have size.

They lost to OU by 15 last week. They are good but inconsistent.

I haven't seen a consistent team outside of Gonzaga all year. Even Kentucky got boatraced this week.

Part of me feels like I'm drifting to the dark side and thinking the season may crater, but then I have to think with a level head and remember that Drew and staff have basically only had 3 days of practice and 1 game to figure out how to replace, rearrange and reformulate a huge loss at a key position, to go along with a few others who are playing but still don't appear to be 100%.

I'm gonna try to stay the positive route and say give Drew staff a couple of games to figure out a lineup and a mix that can be effective for the remainder of the season. It may be discombobulated Saturday, but I've got faith in Drew and staff to do their best to figure it out and put us on our best path forward.
