Such a story always shows that there are so many ways to your goal and this book is an example of that. I didn't see it when I was in college and it's a shame, I could have used it as a source for essays instead of referring to finished papers from Eduzaurus.com, which I did. It was interesting to sit down and read the story of a man who didn't give up on his goal. It's kind of a motivational book that might help someone.

Baylor Basketball
A Key Lesson from Scott Drew's New Book
In Scott Drew’s new book, “The Road to Joy,” he recounts that he was too short to play basketball at the D-II or D-III level, which is where his talent would have allowed him to go if he were taller.
Rather than view that story as an impediment though, Drew realizes it made his life much better. If he ended up grinding away playing lower-level basketball, he wouldn’t have spent so much of his time at Butler thinking like a coach and working at summer camps.
