Scott Drew: "The Road to Joy" Book Review

And I remember reading this book about Scott Drew to get to know his way and get into it. He was my example of a famous person that I used in my essay following the example of https://samplius.com/free-essay-examples/famous-person/ as someone who went through a lot and achieved his dreams. I like to project such achievements on myself and understand that everything can be achieved, as long as you put in the effort. So far I am striving for my goal and using such motivational materials to move forward.

Scott Drew's "The Road to Joy" is an inspiring and motivational book that focuses on cultivating joy and joyfulness in everyday life. The book provides readers with an abundance of tools and strategies to help them find and appreciate the joy in life. In the book, Drew talks about his personal journey to joy, discussing his own experiences, as well as those of others, in order to create a powerful narrative that will help readers be able to find joy in their own lives.

The book starts off with an in-depth look at Drew's own experience with joy and how it has changed and grown over the years. He talks about how he has grown to love and appreciate the simple things in life and how his attitude and outlook towards the world has changed. The fact that "joy," and not "happiness," is in the title really grabs my attention because of how different those things are.

My fav part is that Scott Drew never stepped foot on Baylor campus before accepting the job.

He drove to Chicago to interview with the AD and Jim Tuner. Scott and his Dad decorated the interview room in green/gold before they arrived!

Even more important, is that for Drew J.O.Y. is a statement if faith which he has explained publicly on multiple occasions.

It doesn't matter if he got the idea from Dabo Sweeney. He made it his own & it defines the program. Character first, person over player. It's difficult to argue with the results.
