The Jayhawks had a big weekend in Lawrence, as they played host to the first official visit
weekend of the summer. Coming into the weekend Kansas had yet to land any recruits for the 2023 class, but that all changed as three recruits announced their commitments following the visit.
The headliner of the trio was three-star ATH Surahz Buncom from Chula Vista, California.
Buncom, 6-foot-4 175 pounds, chose the Jayhawks over Oregon, Pitt, Duke, Kansas State, Colorado, and more.
