When KU took the lead, it felt like the Jayhawks might pull away. KU felt lucky to be down seven at halftime; Gradey Dick missed a lot of the half with two fouls. And Baylor’s 3-point shooting went ice cold to start. 

Then Langston Love happened. I’ll have more on him in a column after the game, but his performance was electric. Baylor felt so dependent on near-perfection from at least two of its starters to begin the season.
