And that in a nutshell may explain why OU has only 2 conference wins.

Bald refs don't like Baylor. Do they think we're taunting them with Chip & Jojo's silos?

I can't even enjoy this win worrying about cryer. Please, please don't be the foot again. We are going nowhere in the tournament without Cryer.

LJ is the football version of Craig Williams. Dude just can't be relied on to stay healthy. History would say he's going to miss some time. Hopefully it's nothing serious

Could this team beat the 2021 squad? Nope
Is this team playing at an elite level? No not really
Can they win most of the remaining games? Absolutely
Can they make a deep run in the tourney? Without question

The fact that he's suited up tells me his ok to be out there. He'll unload on purple toads Saturday.

If LJ is out a deep run is going to be a tall task

If he had been in street clothes tonight then we'd need to be concerned. It felt like with his warm up top off the whole night he was maybe about to go in but CSD felt the rotation without him was serviceable vs land thieves.

Hopefully that's the case! Will need him Saturday, especially if Miles is back.

I rewatched the end of the first half. I didn't see an injury but he was laboring and had a slight limp up and down the floor to end a half.

Langston had a great game in LJ's absence. A good win over a dangerous team.

Langston really coming on. The dropoff is from Cryer to Bonner. We need the 4 stud guards to make a deep tourney run.

Continued improvement from the front court will help too if we're down to 3 stud guards. Not ideal, but we have to have balance. Basketball's version of "run to setup the pass."
