Baylor Football Kickoff Times Announced by Big 12, ESPN & FOX Sports

WACO, Texas -- Game times and television designations for Baylor football’s first three games of the 2023 season have been set, it was announced by the Big 12 Conference office on Wednesday afternoon.

Baylor will open its 2023 season by hosting Texas State on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m. on ESPN+ at McLane Stadium. The Bears will host Utah at 11 a.m. on ESPN on Sept. 9 before welcoming Long Island on Sept. 16 at 11 a.m. on ESPN+.

The Big 12 announced, league-wide, the first three game times and television designations for the 2023 season, and any game that were moved from a traditional Saturday date. The Bears will play all 12 of their regular-season contests on Saturdays in 2023.

Baylor will host a school-record eight home games and is set to play its first four games, and five of its first six games, at McLane Stadium. Four straight to open the year at home in 2023 marks the most consecutive home games to start a season since the 2013 Big 12 Championship season.

Baylor vs Utah at 11am really sucks…gonna be 106 degrees at half. I'm guessing the crowd for Long Island at 11am will be 12k after half.
