They discussed the team's focus on competing and discipline, which Tchatchoua believes will be key to their success. He compared this team's defensive mindset to that of the Baylor team that won the national championship. Tchatchoua praised their abilities and how they contribute to the team dynamic.
Ashley Hodge and Tchatchoua talked about his individual improvement, particularly in terms of his drives and finishing around the basket. He mentioned that he has been studying Nikola Jokic's game to improve his own skills, especially since the team plans to play him in the four and five positions.

Regarding NIL (Name, Image, Likeness) deals, Tchamwa Tchatchoua believes it hasn't affected the team's unity negatively. He expressed happiness for his teammates who receive NIL deals and emphasized the team's camaraderie.
When asked about Coach Drew's changes over the years, Tchatchoua stated that Coach Drew has remained consistent in his character and support for his players. He highlighted Coach Drew's emphasis on the players' spiritual life and well-being, which has had a positive impact on the team.
Tchatchoua was also asked about adding a former player to the coaching staff, to which he suggested either Freddie Gillespie or Obim Okeke due to their energy and positive impact on the team.
Regarding foreign players at Baylor, Tchamwa Tchatchoua believes the appeal lies in the coaching staff's ability to turn good players into pros. He mentioned that the coaching staff's track record and the team's strong culture are attractive to foreign players. He also noted that the language barrier and adjustment to a new training environment haven't been major issues for him and his teammates.
