David Kaye tweeted out yesterday that Baylor, KU and Duke are the only three schools to earn top 10 rankings each of the last five seasons. 

Occasionally it gets mentioned, “If only football could replicate basketball.” Most recognize that’s almost an impossible ask — especially given the Big 12 is the best basketball conference — with how much more the SEC and Big 10 now make. 

Here are the reasons Baylor’s been so successful.

Our b.b. program never tried our woke N.I.L. football deal. Completely idealistic. Never could work compared to our competition. Just one of the many football problems

Help me and the rest of our good Baylor fans understand what "woke NIL football deal" means. I'm confused and I'm sure you can clarify. What does the word "woke" that is used in your post mean, and how does it enlighten us on your premise and explain Baylor's approach to NIL? Is finding people to contribute to NIL somehow political?

Give them good coaching

Pretty sure the guys wearing leather helmets and shooting into bottomless fruit baskets figured this out in the 1800s and the formula hasn't changed yet.
