Podcast & Takeaways: Duke 78 Baylor 70

Positives

• Much better effort in a hostile environment.  Let’s be honest, these games may say neutral but they were road games.  Duke probably had 16k fans to 2k for Baylor.  
• Yves Missi outplayed Filipowski.  Yves ends up with 11 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks.  Also 3-3 from the foul line.    
• I really liked Langston Love’s defense and overall game even though he missed shots, he played aggressive. 
• Jalen Bridges continues to play efficient basketball.  We just need more from him.  
• RayJ Dennis played solid defense and made some plays on the offensive end.  
• Love Ja’Kobe’s aggressiveness on offense.

Worries

• Walter got blown by 4-5 times and gave up layups.  That needs to improve.  
• RayJ’s turnover issues, sheesh.  And also the 2-6 from the foul line.  Got to have the free throws in a big game like this.  
• Josh Ojianwuna, woof.  11 minutes, terrible defense, no rebounds.  He has 11 games with 1 block.  How is that possible?
• Jayden Nunn has to be better.  He’s not making great decisions.  
• Just wilted down the stretch.  Duke is good and it was an overwhelmingly pro Duke crowd but you are up 54-48 and just squandered a good opportunity to win a big game.  

Overall, 9-2 is where I thought we would be at this point in the season.  Keep getting better!
