Walters best half of ball in a good while.

Just need to move to the outside more. We're not going to dominate the paint. Just keep step backs. Come out hot 2nd half.

41 allowed to Houston. Just when I think our defense can't get any worse. Just putrid defensively.

We do not value the ball. At least 11 turnovers for the half (I've frankly lost count). That has a significant impact on our offensive output.

You're guaranteeing a win vs TCU Monday ?
Feel good. Don't bet money either way on my opinion.
To elaborate, don't forget we traveled to West Virginia last Saturday, played a physical game followed by another one across the country at BYU, then came back here to play Houston, yet another physical team and without Love available.

After today, the Bears sleep in their beds two nights then make a short drive up to TCU. We will be motivated by the BYU and UH games, as well as feeling we owe TCU after our first meeting with the Frogs. For their part, TCU played a road game at Kansas State, then on the road at Tech, they play Cincy then us. The Frogs will be less rested than when they played us the first time.

Held out little hope for a win today, especially without Love, but I was really hoping we wouldn't embarrass ourselves on national TV like this. We looked about like a midlin Southkand Conference team playing UH in that first half.

Just think how bad we would be losing if we were still in the Farrell.

Staff needs defensive help badly.

Our offense just has casual ball handlers but it's not overwhelming. We've turned it over casually all the time. But thought Bridges drawing out a forward gave a decent lane. We're just timid and missing a break down guard. Walter looks good though. Putting pro moves up.

We are not peaking at the right time

Losing Love for the season was killer.

Some our guys have disappeared for weeks and take up large % of minutes. And now they hitting the wall and tired.

Hoping for the best but not seeing much improvement if anything were backsliding.

Drew a late season magician though so
Can't bet against him but…

oh boy , here comes the lame "sleeping in your own bed " excuse,,,,well it least its not mileage excuse...if we can only figure out how to take our beds on the road...

If you take out 2 of the 3 ways to score, we'll have fewer points. Astute observation.

UH has played overly physical D since the Sampson era began, and since they were gem of the AAC the officiating allowed them advantage. When UH came to the Big 12, I really thought they would have to tone done the physicality a bit because even though the Big 12 has always been a physical conference it wasn't on a level near tackle football like UH plays. The irony is that instead of UH adjusting, Big 12 officiating has actually become more liberal in allowing physicality, which TJ and Iowa St have taken advantage of as well.

It's neither good nor bad, just an observation. If UH is allowed to play as physical in the tournament as they have in the Big 12, they will beat some top tier teams just based on shock value as guys like Filipowski at Duke and the entire Purdue team have been pampered with calls all year and are not used to playing someone as physical as UH. Conversely, if the officials call a game that doesn't allow physicality, UH may get an early boot due to foul trouble.

When we set the high ball screen UH is hedging hard but our guards are content to pick up the ball and chunk it across the court.

I'd challenge our guards to attack the hedger and try to get downhill.

Just one of many ways we played Charmin soft in the first
