Did Cryer graduate?

Had a feeling the FT would cost us. Make that and the Bears are celebrating.
The little things add up and they've killed this team

Also could have won the tcu game
KSU did all they could to give the game away at their place and we couldn't make the winning plays in that one either.

Refs took over at the end.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

This team excels at finding way to lose games. Drew needs to figure out how to recruit leadership.

No… just no. Make your FTs in regulation and we win. Simple as that. This team sucks at the foul line as a whole.

I'm encouraged. We just need to be putting things together at the right time. 2-3 more weeks to figure it out, and hopefully get Love back

Too many games we come out flat this season, we can do it v OSU, BYU, etc.

Not good teams.

Refs made some bad calls. But a missed FT, a missed layup, etc. this game was ours to take at the end and we didn't do it.

Right. Don't need a basketball IQ to figure that out.

I'll bet you any amount of $$ you don't win a Natty. You name the dollar amount

This team has fight, but is too immature to overcome dumb mistakes, and said immaturity leads to soft playing until they decide they want to be big boys and play.

Bad ball-handling, spotty FT shooting, subpar interior defense, and shooters disappearing in spurts were the same trends we've seen in several losses this season.

We have a shot to go deep if the tournament's trend of punishing aggressive defenses works in our favor or if we can have hot shooting. But if not, we will probably be a first or second weekend exit again.

To be fair at some point we were 17/19. Unbelievable for this team.

They just can't take the win. Missi shoots 50% or worse from the line. So wasn't expecting g much but he did air all a layup and bricked another layup so eventually stuff adds up

Was nice to see someone blow a 17 point lead not named us for once. Just couldn't seal the win

We shot 82% from line..free throws didn't lose this.

Ridiculous first half and turnovers lost this.

You won't be allowed to play football vs. UConn or Purdue, and if you face Duke the entire UH team will foul out by middle of the first half.

I think what happened to us is exactly what happens to almost anyone the first time they play UH -- the shock value of being in a football game instead of basketball game, so it takes you almost 1 half to adjust your game to that level. Teams that play UH the 2nd time already have that experience and so they are ready for the physicality from the starting tip.

We missed the one that mattered did we not? Make that one and BUs celebrating knocking off #2

We gave it away. We had LJ on Dennis and he was schooling him. We should have worked him off the post up with Bridges sitting at the 3 to spread their forward out. It made offense pretty easy.

But all that said, the missed layups and free throws and we win. Terrible nervous start too. You saw in the second half there is literally no talent mismatch. Experience, closing, small plays have cost us over and over

Imagine the inferiority one must feel to go over to an opposing fan's board and gloat about squeaking out an overtime game you were favored to win

We were 18/22 man.. we missed FOUR out of 22.

How bout the 30fgs or so we missed? Or the umpteenth turnovers? Both those are higher numbers than 4.

That's how we lost game.

Find me a conference game where someone shot even 90% from line.

Turnovers, FTs, rebounding, defense, clock management, poor shot selections, fouls, referees, blown out in first half, pick your poison.

Now outside of the all that..Walter, Bridges, Nunn, and Dennis completely spread them out and blitzed them second half. They got wherever they wanted honestly. But our bigs and our point clammed up in OT.

Shame we can never close. All season problem.

All the points matter. Why not appreciate coming back the way they did in the second half?

TO's in the first half killed us. I've acknowledged that.
Point remains if we make 1 lousy FT we win the game. We had a great Ft shooting game overall. Not denying that.
