If we are 2-5 in a couple weeks I'd say there's a 5050 chance he's gone by end of year. This admin is not an institution of football.

I think 3 more would get him back, despite popular opinion. Even after a 4 win season with some pointing to close calls might give him another year. I don't think they really want to admit this great experiment was a failure, plus the buyout money.

I'll say one more thing. Across the board ISU was bigger, stronger, faster the physicality difference was hilarious from the sidelines. I said last week I think 2-10 is realistic and I'm sticking to that. This team isn't playing 4 full quarters this year. Just isn't going to happen

Our 3 conference games so far have been against 3 teams tied (with others) for first place in the conference. The combined record of those 3 teams is 14-1.

I don't know if TT can win at Arizona tonight...but if they do it will be another matchup for us against a team in first place. Winning on the road in Lubbock probably isn't happening.

That would make 4 straight losses. Will the team be able to stay together mentally?

After that it does get more doable. But if our defense can't get several things fixed I don't think it will matter.
