one play bears. one play.
I'm not defending him, I'm letting you know your take on this is bad. He may indeed be a terrible career QB, but I don't care about his career. This is a game thread, not a career thread.bear2be2 said:morethanhecouldbear said:I didn't see an open WR downfield, did you?bear2be2 said:
That's what I'm talking about. Bowman just retreats, retreats, retreats under pressure.
He slowly drifted to the sideline, away from pressure and eventually threw it away.
Maybe it would have been better for him to take the sack.
He's a terrible quarterback, and his pocket presence -- or lack thereof -- plays a huge role in that.
We saw it today with the grounding penalty early.
I'm not sure why you're so vigorously defending a pocket passer with a career 132.6 passer rating.
No. And we shouldn't stop. He is getting paid to play - that comes with the ups and downs and all the criticism and praise....He gets demoted and now is "injured". Failure on the Coaches and the Administration to tie so much NIL to a player who wasn't worthy at all... Those funds could have been used to shore up other gaps..bear2be2 said:Guys, leave Finn alone. He's been a good teammate by all accounts.BluesBear said:
Can we stop payment on Finn's checks??????
He played poorly and got beat out.
It's time to move on.

That's fair. But you had a chance to end the game right there.coldhardtruth said:bear2be2 said:

Just keep everything in front of them. I'm fine with that.

My concern is that he gets just enough wins to be retained and we have to suffer through another year of inconsistent mediocrity.Quinton said:
If Dave gets to 6 and is retained, they need to bring in a ton of high level safeties and now even cb's. Just terrible awareness and feel for the game. Stiff, no fluidity in movement. Need complete overhaul
