1. Our defense at that point was not really stopping WVU anyway.
2. Aranda probably figured (and rightly) that our offense was going to score a lot.

WV scored, but if you remember, the guy was so wide open, he would have scored from 90 yards if we had kicked off and they got it at the 10.
