There are some really dirty hits on slides, so I understand the frustration in part. You're sliding to avoid getting hurt, and a hit to the head can scramble your brain in that situation.

But when you slide that late, you're doing it to yourself.

I'll have to take your word for it, because he just got destroyed by their running back and then took a bad angle against their quarterback, both of which gave them a first down

Jones stayed high and the RB got under for leverage. Poor tackling technique

That was a good no call. No way to avoid incidental contact that close in. Dummy should have slid earlier instead of playing to get a flag.

I've said this during other games, but I think it's something that you have to do as a coach to let the refs know that you are not going to get taken from behind like we've seen several times this year

Good players make bad plays. Matt Jones' body of work against the run and in the pass rush this season has been very good.
