Yes I have. He's a good kid and I am not against him but for Baylor to compete at a higher level we need an elite quarterback. I would say he rates middle of the pack. Both ITs tonight he telegraphed his throws. Never looked at anyone else.
This is a terrible take. Sawyer Robertson has been one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country this year.
Destry's take was bad.

Not sure how fans can make claims like yours though.

We can't say in absolute terms that a player is one of the best in the country when the sample size of games is so small and the variables are so many.

Would he still be "one of the best" if he played for Houston? Or, if he played for Purdue or Miss St?

Finn was the MAC's MVP of the year and we see how that panned out here.

All that can be claimed with high accuracy is that a player is one of the best in his conference.

Impact Robertson continues to fly under the radar as one of the most efficient quarterbacks in the country, and he made a big statement by throwing for a career-high 327 yards and three touchdowns. The standout play of Bryson Washington in the backfield has bolstered Robertson's success with solid contributions, and the combination should continue to thrive as they head for the postseason and a guaranteed bowl game.

He's currently No. 6 nationally in total QBR. He's been objectively excellent this season. A bad game last night against a good defense doesn't change that.

Chill. I'm extremely tough on Dave because I believe he tanked a good program and had low key one of the worst seasons I've ever seen last year.

But Sawyer showed flashes last year and has been very good this year. He was shook after the early picks, it happens. Even still he made a few plays (credit to Trigg and Hawkins) This is cfb.. there are no Brady's coming though that door.

You are right, no Brady's or even Novosad's are going to Baylor. Gonna have to find the Sawyers of the world. That is going to lead to some iffy moments. Aranda seems to have found a formula that is working.

And I would argue, the program wasn't that good he supposedly tanked. If it was, Rhule wouldn't have left. He had one good season.

Sawyer Robertson was a four-star recruit out of high school and only narrowly missed that threshold as a transfer.

And our program was in great shape after 2019. Rhule left because he wanted to coach in the NFL and got that opportunity after that season.

Dave has done a good job of salvaging this season and has earned the opportunity to continue leading this program. But let's not revise history. He was on the hot seat to begin with for good reason. Our product from November 2022 to the Iowa State game this year was unacceptable.

Rhule had one good season and jumped. He finished with a losing record overall. In the 8 win year we beat not one ranked team, actually we lost to every ranked team and the Bowl Game. That is the bar??? If your going to call it, call it for both sides. You and the Rhule Cabal are the delusional ones. The guy is a losing coach his lifetime win percentage is below .500, want to throw in the .289 winning percentage in the pros. Yeah, whose delusional?

Your premise that Rhule wouldnt leave to go to the NFL if the program was good is very silly.

He took on a scandal depleted team and he was building something, pretty clear to anyone paying attention.
