I'm not high on Cincinnati but they needed this kind of performance. Best defense of the season so far. Only offense has been offensive rebound kick outs.

I dont know if VJ has been scored on more than once or twice the last few games.

In pregame warmups #0 stood about 6-8 feet behind the 3 point line and I watched him hit 15 in a row at one point. Unfortunately he is starting to hit them now in the game but we're still up double digits.

Unfortunately, Celestine doesn't provide depth inside. He's a 6-7 guard and a finesse one at that.

This has been one of his best games of the year. We'll see if he can develop some level of consistency. But this should definitely help his confidence.

Exactly.
I like that we only have 10 3-point attempts as a team today. When you've shot the percentages we have in a lot of these games, you should look for alternative ways to score. We have tonight and it's worked out beautifully.

Hopefully, the way we've attacked the paint in this one will become a trend.

Seeing VJ on TV doesn't do justice for his athleticism. He looks even more athletic in person. He literally walks almost like a panther with a bounce in his step. He's one of the most athletic guys I've seen in person at Baylor. If his basketball skills ever equal his athleticism he'll be one of the best basketball players in the NBA.

Yeah that starting 5 is top 4 in the B12 imo. Not sure why they're this bad.
KSU is a dumpster fire. Tangs seat is gonna warm awfully quick if he doesn't turn things around

I like Tang, but he's become an excuse-maker the last two years. That's not going to help him turn things around in Manhattan.

KSU is cooked. I said it during their game vs MVSU that they'd miss the NCAAS. That roster was constructed in such a weird way. A bunch of square pegs trying to fit in round holes.

There's too much basketball to be played and the Big 12 has too many winnable games for me to write them off completely, but this doesn't look like a tournament team in any way.
