Dave needs to be removed as DC for this. Just hire a guy who can coach defense and pull some of Dave's salary to do it. This is just historically bad stuff.. same no energy nonsense from 22' and 23'. Pathetic performance and nobody will ream dave for this. He needs to have someone really get into him for this one.

Because we showed up for that game and respected our opponent. This team sleepwalks every time we play someone we think we "should" beat, which is a poor quality for any team.

Super disappointing. We had a chance to stomp on their throat...and instead let them hang around and start to build more belief.

Aranda should be fired on Monday morning. The defense sucks. Not sure more than a few players would even start on most other teams. I tried to be a believer but it was stupid from the start to hire someone who lacks every known natural quality of a leader as a head coach. Now I'm listening to the broken record halftime comments that haven't changed in too many years. I'm sick of hearing it.

Dave, there's this thing called defense where you prevent the other team from getting points and thereby don't have to get as many points yourself to win the game (mind = blown)

Allowing this OKST team to pile up 350 yards of offense in a single half is fireable. There has to be a standard set that's better than this.

Dave's defense really stinks and the HC needs to give him an earful at the half! Threaten to fire him if doesn't get better.

No quarterback is going to be perfect. He's hit 12 of 19 passes for 153 yards with three touchdowns and no picks. That's a good half by any standard.

If our defense wasn't terrible, we'd be up big right now.

To be clear…I was mocking the earlier comment that we are "wasting and NFL QB" no we are not. He is leading the country in TDs and is playing at a high level. Lots of blame out there, but not for him. That said, he is NOT an NFL QB. If Petty and RGIII couldn't make it work, I don't think Robertson will cut it either. He is solid in the Big12, but I'd be shocked if he gets a serious look in the NFL.

Let's just enjoy him as our QB.

We can and he needs to basically be told to sit back and shut up when it comes to the defense or you're going to out of the HC job too. Since the admin is completely adament about dragging this guy along, he needs to be told a new DC needs to be in immediately and needs to be given basically free reign.

Don't want to hear anything about a guy being too fiery for his taste. Dave has the worst D i've seen in many, many years. Its an impossibly bad unit right now.

NFL loves arms like his. If only knew what was wrong with his lower body, we might assess better. He has no wiggle, runs like his knees hurt, WHEN he runs. Which seems to be much less than last year

Dave was hired because he was touted as a defensive guru. If he isn't able to do that, he needs to be shown the door. He is a nice guy and an alright CEO, but a head coach at a school with moderate resources has to have some sort of niche that they excel it

Everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth. It's just that the good coaches get punched in the mouth and then start looking better that round. Dave gets punched in the mouth, and it takes him two or three rounds to think about strategy and make sure the vibe is right before change can happen

I love Sawyer but he plays NCAA D1 football. That opens you up to criticism. Sometimes fair and sometimes not. He's played mostly well today. Has had a few misfires, one that should've been picked. He will get an NFL shot but he's probably at best a late round pick at the moment. That could change.

I love Josh Cameron. I have a #34 jersey but in traffic he needs to get the ball high and tight which I noticed he's done today.

In next years draft Jackie Marshall is probably our highest draft pick followed by Cameron then Sawyer.

The defense played well last week save a couple of blown plays, one of which was huge and untimely. This is certainly disappointing. Didn't start fast thanks to bad D. We seem to play down to lesser opponents too often.
