Did Spav actually call that?

My first thought, after picking myself up off the floor, is he doing this to give future opponents something else to think off?

I don't know whether Spav is afraid of Sawyer getting hurt, or if Sawyer has been hurt and therefore hesitant to run, but there is NO QUESTION this becomes a more lethal offense with Sawyer as a threat to run.

His knee was down …?

If he wasn't down, then he also fumbled and we recovered.

Props when deserved: great defensive play by Coleman.

Really nice D pursuit there. Great stop!

Need at least a FG to beat the spread. Let's GO!

There just appears to be almost a lingering injury that could heal in the off season but not before

My own theory, based on not much, is that he really wants to be a pass first guy and make throws.

Nice little run Sawyer, but he has a definite limp.

Well he kept on 4th and guess what….it worked

Glad Turner, Knighten and Dodds are all getting a lot of experience in this game. I have a feeling this is gonna be one of those years where Washington is dinged up at various points and those guys are all gonna be called on.

Wins are good. I like wins. We should still leave Powlege in Stillwater.

Powledge doesn't call the defense. Dave does.

Just about every year under Dave, there's been one position coach and/or coordinator that the fan base allows Dave to put up as his sacrificial lamb. This year, it appears it's going to be Powledge. I mean, he is terrible, but Dave is supposed to be the defensive guru here

If you want to reasonably break down this team 9-3 would be best case scenario if they hit lightning in a bottle but they're a fun team to watch. 7 most likely but we'll see.

If you took the points...good job ...we kept it close to the spread

Here's my ten things, if I can think of ten things:

We won.

Premium time slot on ESPN2 made sure we didn't have to listen to Derp Turdstreak.

No longer tied for last place in conference.

Still not eliminated from CFB playoff contention.

Handed OSU's head coach his first loss.

Only missed beating the spread by a field goal.

Held OU's offense to only about a hundred yards above their average.

Team that Baylor almost beat last time beat TCU today. Hmmm...

Didn't lose the penalty battle, 8 to 8, 60 to 100 yards.

Nobody got shot.

It's already one of those years. Washington and Trigg get banged up on every other play. Sawyer and Cameron have come up gimpy multiple times too. Need everyone to get some experience

Right now this year's team feels about like last year's team competitively. Last year was a nice surprise and a fun season.... but with all of our returning talent on offense I was expecting to take it to another level this year.

Still lots of season left to improve weak areas. Maybe Dave just starts his seasons like he starts his games… Slow.

Until our defense improves, our ceiling is 8-4. And if our offense takes a dip, that ceiling drops further.

Dave Aranda needs to treat this issue like his Baylor tenure depends on it because it very likely does.

I'm not sure it does. I think he easily wins enough to keep his job this year. 2026 is where it gets dicey. We lose a ton on offense, and I don't think our defense is going to be able to step up
