Baba Miller is making us his Baba-b1tch.

I'm watching because I'm still snowed in and the way basketball is these days, half of Cincinnati's team tonight may be wearing Baylor jerseys next year.

Cincinnati's "shooters" are all terrible.

Rodriguez, Kriisa and Celestine are all absolute scrubs.

Cincy still seems to have the benefit of the whistle.

At least Celestine isn't killing us. He was a disappointment last year for us.

He's 0-7 tonight against us from 3, which brings his 3 pt % for the year down to 20.2%.

Down 17 to a team that is execrably bad.

I've seen more discipline from kids in a daycare I worked once.

It's crazy. In five year's time, we've gone from national champions to the worst team in the Big 12.

The refs have nothing to do with this. We're bloody awful.

I'm not convinced Baylor wins another game. This team is ****ing awful and Scott's 100000% to blame.

Drew's tech got them to call the fouls on our drives. It's too late now.

Look at the KenPom defensive rankings. Those will tell you which games we'll have a chance to win. That doesn't mean we will win, but we'll have a chance.

We'll likely look like a competent offensive team against Utah (230), Colorado (144), Arizona State (132), Kansas State (103) and UCF (83).

Everyone else will kick our ass.

Drew's officially bottomed out the program. His entire class next season should be guys with multiple years left. If he goes the same route he's gone down than I firmly believe he's lost his way.

We're not getting calls. Won't affect the outcome but it's inexcusable officiating.

This is a pretty damning statement… but our football team was more competitive in conference play than this basketball team.

So what do you do to solve it?

Assuming Yessoufou and Cam are gone either to the NBA or a much higher NIL package, Rataj's, Skillings and Powell's eligibility expire.

Does bringing back Williams, Nnaji, Agbim (assuming a JUCO ruling), White (who underwhelmed during the time before his injury), and then throwing in 3 guys we've never seen play at a Big 12 level in Bodo Bodo, Soyoye and Igaudola and then the freshman Williams suddenly catapult this team talentwise to the top half of the Big 12?

You forgot Perez, who should be a solid Big 12 player.

There are some building blocks. We need to keep as many of them as we can because both freshmen and transfers are usually better in Year 2 than they were in Year 1. And then add some difference makers around that core.

Not that it mattered the way we were shooting, but what little chance we had at a comeback was snuffed out by Kipp Kissinger with the flagrant 1 when Miller and Skillings were equally engaged in a scrum, and the ensuing 5 point play by Cincy

I hear what you're saying, but I also heard how "solid" a Big 12 player Rataj was gonna be. Agbim was gonna be. And previously Asemota. And Celestine. And list over the past few years could go on and on.

Not saying you did, by the way. All fan bases have a habit of just assuming someone is gonna be great. None of us have seen Perez suit up in college basketball so far. We have some mixtape highlights.

I used to be confident and buyoff on it because I feel like we had proper talent evaluation in place so I could trust it. I'm not sure we do any longer based on the past few years. I finally don't feel like I can give them the benefit of the doubt.
