Baylor (33-1) plays Oregon State (25-7) on Friday March 23 at 6:00pm CST for the chance to advance to the Elite 8 in the Lexington Bracket of the Women's NCAA Tournament.  The game is televised on ESPN2 and ESPN3.  Here is a look at the match-up:

Not much transition for us right now limiting our possessions. Got to play them tighter or even overplay them some. We need to tip the ball on D. That's our game. It will allow a few good shots for them but overall we are out of sync on O b/c we are not sure of what we want to do. Kalani not showing up yet is a big reason the game is so close.
She and Lauren HAVE to play together better. Also too many dumb TO's too. Let's get it going hard core. Need more chaos.

Morris has to understand that she can't finish over all those 6 footers. If she doesn't have a direct line to the basket then pass out or pull up.

I'm guessing juicy got benched for Chou for defense. Chou has more length to help on the perimeter.

Poor Chou - just a decoy. Mulk is punishing Juicy the 1st half just like she did Nina in the MSST game last year. Personally I thought it was one of two decisions she made that cost us that game.

In spite of everything we are still ahead at half. Not bad considering.

This is so true but she is a freshman and she is just playing the only way she knows b/c its her job to jumpstart the team. So I can't blame her and she even got a couple of possessions back, but my goodness, Kalani is not going to beat this team by just shooting open 15' jumpers. This is how they frustrate you. They play the %'s. Without Cox you don't have the high low game we are used to. I still can't figure out what is foul in womens bball. The O picks are obvious, but right now this pace is exactly as OSU wants it. Fewer possessions for us.

The pace is what I was afraid of the most. This is OSU's pace. That is why we have to be more aggressive on D so we can create TO's and run. You've got to try b/c that is what we do. Too many good shots for them thus far. Morris should on occasion pull and hit that wide open 3. They are just giving it to her and she is 56% from 3 so why not.

All I know is not enough posessions. It's almost like we are running our O like they want to run theirs. Not our style. I imagine Mulkey's BP is about 180//100 right now. You've only got 20 minutes to play so we have to run to make runs. I know is easier said than done, but you can't change who you are now.

Where are all of the great assists our girls are usually known for??? They have looked more like the guys out there during the first half. Anyone with the ball is racing to the basket and tossing up a horrible shot. We are not gonna win this game playing like that.

As was mentioned, so was Nina's. Unorthodox release point makes it hard to defend. It'll keep her out of the WNBA, but will win us some games.

6-1 vs 5-9 says you are correct. Juicy also picked up a foul off the ball.
