Dodged a big-time bullet there. Shouldn't have been that close. Another ugly win but just as much a win all the same. I'll take it.
Your right - should not have been that close at home to Oklahoma - All that happened is give OU confidence that they can beat us at their place - Turnovers and missed free throws like last night will make the Florida game a potential trap game

Our defense was outstanding but offense goes thru spurts where it's bad. Good win for the bears.
Outside of the Oklahoma State game, which had a lot to do with the Cowboys hitting shots they don't normally make, our defense has been unbelievable since Big 12 play started.

Our offense comes and goes -- as is the case with most college teams, and especially those as reliant on the 3-pointer as we are -- but it's hard to get too worked up about style points when we're 16-1 and ranked No. 1 in the country.

With our defense, we're going to be in every game we play. And our guard depth all but ensures that we'll find our way out of shooting slumps over the course of a 40-minute game.

This is a really, really good basketball team, and I hope Baylor fans can fully appreciate that while we have it. They've struggled with that on the rare occasions we've had elite teams in the past.

This is one of the poorest shooting teams we've had, but defense and rebounding are saving the games.

They're just streaky. Butler, Teague and Bandoo are all really good 3-point shooters, and Mitchell has made major strides in that area this season. Those guys have had a bunch of games lately where they've struggled from deep, but history suggests that will correct itself over time.
