Contrast that with CKM's attitude and comments about winning conference and winning every game. I just wish Drew had a little Mulkey in him, and ftr, I'm a big CSD fan and backer.

I'm sorry but you cannot compare the level of competition that the Lady Bears play in conference to that of the mens team. Not even close.
But it's not just about the competition. It's about the confidence that you've prepared your team to be successful every time they step on the court. If you don't believe you can win every game, why play it?
What on earth are you talking about?
Are you fine with Drew flat out saying we won't go undefeated in conference play? Who's to say we can't do it? Obviously it's a tough league, but why deny yourself the chance and send that message to your players.

I missed him saying that and would like to hear the full context of the quote....but it may be a way for him to try and keep his players from being too tight feeling like they have to be perfect.

A football coach aiming for the natty would never say that of course....but basketball is different....even the elite times are going to have a handful of losses
Also, no one has ever gone through the Big 12 undefeated.
Kansas did in 2001-02, but that's the only time it's ever happened. And no Big 12 team has lost fewer than two games in league play since the double round robin format came into existence in 2011-12.

Not a new fan here, been watching the Bears in person since the Vinnie Johnson days.
Love the Bears, love Coach Drew, love the streak and love the road wins, but dang, this team is
hard to watch sometimes. UT and OSU are not good teams but our guys played down to their level.
Maybe Coach MUlkey is right, the season is a grind and all teams are tired now.
Hope our guys find their legs for WV, OU, KS and Tech.

If you wanna win it all you cannot take possessions off and that is exactly what we are doing. Really good teams will work you to death. TT definitely getting their legs at the right time. We'll see. This is crazy what we are doing.
We're not taking possessions off. We're just not an elite offensive team. We're a good one for the same reasons past Scott Drew teams were -- offensive rebounds. When a team shuts down our second-chance opportunities, we're going to be in for a slog. But that's fine. Slogs favor our team.
Unacceptable for the no.1 team. If we are not a good O team how do you explain what we did @KU, @ISU and @UF? We can be but the weird thing we usually get pts off our D. That is not happening lately. Never said we were an ELITE O. However, like Fran said if we keep throwing this out there we will get beat. If we are not taking possessions off then we are not thinking clearly bc I remember so much earlier that we made smart passes and always found the open guy. I don't know where Butler's head is, but he is in a majjor shooting slump. Your catalyst (unless you wanna say Vital is that guy) is Butler.
Worst kind of fan.

Why don't you follow Rhule over to the Panthers. The two of you seem to be very comfortable deciding and declaring who the true fans are, and who the worst fans are.

This game had me worried all day. Great to get out of there with a win and now have a good week of practice to prepare for WVU. Sic em!

Me too. I expect we are going to pick up a loss or two before it's all said and done....I just didn't want it to come at the hands of the freakin Horns

Really? Someone gets called the worst kind of fan because they have a different opinion on a subjective issue, and I overreacted?

I know you are not directing this to me cuz I never talk about the fans. I am more of an X and O kind of fan. Must be toward bear2be2. Please clarify...
