I didn't take it that way. I get what your saying.

We are shooting 40% from the field, but only 1-9 from three. About four of those shots from distance have been wide open and Mitchel has missed on two layups after blowing by his man and the rest of the defense. All that plus the free throw shooting and we could be up by 20pts easily. Lots of positives to take away so far, just want to see our guys start making shots. simple as that.

Well that shows you what I don't know. Lol. I'm just wanting them to light up the floor more on offense.
I want them to literally light that floor on fire. My eyes are bleeding its so ugly.

Yes..we completely dominated that first half even with shaky offense. After years on this board it amazes me that people dont realize basketball is a game of runs..for both teams.

Love Freddie and how he plays for us, but this poor free throw shooting is costing us.
Freddie's struggling in that area today, but he's a 71 percent free throw shooter for the season.

People get way too worked up over single-game free throw samples. Yes, they can impact games. But those are volatile for every team in the country.
Completely agree. My concern is that were getting to the end of the season and I would hate for free throws to derail an otherwise magical year for this team that has worked so hard.
I agree. But we shot well above our season average against K-State on Tuesday (89 percent). You just didn't hear anything about it because no one talks about free throws unless/until you miss them.

Over the course of a season, you are what your averages say you are. And there's no such thing as a one-game trend.

We also need the BU chant again here in the arena..it was embarrassingly loud at the end of the first half.

Our kids look tired. Maybe complacent.
Don't get it. We look totally focused and aggressive on the defensive end while at the same time looking lackadaisical and lethargic on the offensive end. TCU is playing some pretty good defense themselves, but I still say we should be up by at least 20 instead of 7 at the half.
Basketball is all about making shots. Even if the spacing is good, the looks are good, etc. but if you can't shoot you should not be on the court. I agree about the court. Looks like an NHL rink.
Exactly. Too many mistake missed shots for bad offense. We've had lots of open looks (Mitchell especially). That's good offense getting poor results.

But we're shooting 40 percent from the field right now, which is within the margin of error of our season average. Turn two misses into makes and we're at or above our average.

That little stretch was the first time today that the team looked complacent/sluggish. I have every confidence that we're about to put the clamps on and run TCU out of the gym over the next 7-8 minutes.

Another game where Clark has given us nothing but fouls.

Not sure but those fouls on Clark don't appear to involve much contact.

Not much, but enough. I'd love to see him get aggressive on D. If he's gonna foul then freakin hammer the guy

Not very polished looking today. Let's just win and get the heck outa Ft Worth-less.

Couldn't agree more. That first foul needs to teach that player to think twice before coming into the lane again.
