Jake Lindsey is most certainly the player of the game for me. Hit a big 3 when we couldn't hit ANYTHING and a number of other nice shots including tying it up at 55 with an insane layup.

I already answered. OSU beat us on the layup to win, it knocked us off the bubble. it was a charge, too. I punched a hole in my door, so I remember. we then won the NIT.

Early in Jake's career, I thought he would be a defensive liability especially in man to man. He can still get beat by quick guys but also uses his height as an advantage on D and driving to the hoop

so many big plays down the stretch... the Jake bucket in traffic at the rim, the D by Jake and Jo on Morris, the Manu fallaway with a high degree of difficulty, and then the great lockdown D by Ish on Morris on the last shot.

we made all of the key plays from being down 61-59 at break down to the final buzzer... only the Burton bucket for ISU, and he's a bad matchup for us down there

Yep. It was obvious ISU wanted to let him shoot from 3 early on. He missed his shots, but kept his game strong. On any other night he hits enough of those 3s to keep ISU honest and really open things up in the lane.

Yeah ISU is very solid. Not as good without Niang and Nader. Still I was in shock at the 3s they were hitting. Babe shoots like 20% from 3 doesn't he?
