Drew should have raised such commotion after Mitchell was called for the foul that he would have gotten thrown. He should have done a Chris Beard on the refs!

I was really hoping Coach Drew would get himself ejected after that missed charge call. Anything to draw attention to what has been one of the worst called games I have ever seen.

One of the worst Phog officiated games I've ever seen. Ultimately, the team lost the game due to poor shooting, missed assignments, weak legs, late rotations, and bad ft%. I don't know if we could have won tonight had the game been called evenly, but I doubt it.

Lets just beat WVU and secure that championship.

They were not good, that did not cost us the game. This game was lost by poor, uninspired defense, poor 3-point shooting, and poor overall shooting along with missed free throws and horrendous rebounding.

Maybe not a surprise Kansas upset Baylor tonight in Lawrence. Jayhawks shot better than the Bears, and had a big rebounds advantage tonight. 3 weeks of team lockdown dealing with the dreaded Coronavirus, then struggling the first two conference basketball games was too much to overcome tonight in particular. While Baylor's 18-game winning streak ends, they can still wrap up the 2021 Big XII MBB regular season title on Tuesday night, although I don't feel good about their chances vs West Virginia on Morgantown.

Yep. You already know you're gonna get the shaft from the refs in Lawrence. That's a given. What you can't do is go 6 of 26 from 3 (and several wide open air balls), and 6 of 16 from the free throw line. Then, add on a 20 rebound difference. The irony is that we had our fewest turnovers of the year.

Agree. Pressure may be off now since undefeated possibility is gone. Can focus now on getting back to where they were before the layoff.

We had a chance to go on a run when McCormack went out with his fourth foul but didn't

Rebounds hurt tonight 43-25
Also it doesn't help when you shoot 38%

This team needs its leaders to step up. Obviously this is all about the 21 day layoff because we would have won this game before covid. But we have to find a way to get it back together.

Sucks to take our first L....especially to damn Kansas....but we had a lot working against us going into this one.

We just need to keep our heads down and keep grinding to get back to the level of play we were at before Covid smacked us down. If we can get back that back before MM starts this L won't mean a thing in the big picture.

Yep everyone saying it's not gonna happen but mark my words it will be Gonzaga 1 Michigan 2 and Bears 3. All from one loss also they exposed that we truly dont have a dominant big man like they do.
