That was a solid 20 minutes of basketball for the 2021 Big XII Conference Champions. Matthew Mayer in beast mode with 11 points. 10 points from Jared Butler. Both teams shooting at least 48%. Greet defense holding Cade Cunningham to just 4 points. I think Baylor is just about at the same level with endurance and stamina from before the 3-week break.

The announcers think the former.

Not very surprising, though, the media tends to focus on one thing regardless of the circumstance. He's the big story.
