Most underrated play of game was first possession of 2nd half going down low to Thamba..set the tone and got him active..

Missed the last minute of the game due to a stupid tornado warning on our local channel. It's hard to keep your priorities straight when that happens.
Hope everyone is out of the way of the tornado. Hope it's not as nasty as the Baylor defense.

He was huge on the glass pretty much all game. If Flo could finish around the rim with more efficiency he'd probably average 10 a game.

It was the FTs (especially the last one) and the bad misses (wide open air ball) that were concerning. Hope he gets out of his funk. We need him to get to the final four.

This has turned out to be a difficult matchip for us. They are able to tightly contest almost all our 3s, and they alter every paint shot. There are answers, will Drew adjust, and will our players leave it all on the court? We will see.

That would be an affirmatory.

Great win, somehow one of the most satisfying wins I've ever seen. The defense was unreal. They had no clue what to do. I do think of all the things people might talk about, conditioning contributed big time. We just have more gas in the tank, last 5 minutes, than anyone else in the country.

For real. The defense and Drew and staff adjusting in the 2nd half was a clinic of great, hard-nosed basketball. I was in awe. On to the Elite 8!!!!!! SIC 'EM!!!!

What a tough, gritty win. This team is really, really good. And they proved today that they don't need to hit 3s to win tough games -- though it would be nice if they'd start shooting more like themselves down the stretch.

Butler and Teague combined for 14 points and 1-10 from 3. If you saw that you'd think we got blown out. Credit to the rest of the guys and Drew. Flagler and Mayer were exceptional. Mayer was boarding like crazy. And Davion was Davion. He's the most important players we have hands down.

Defense was what won this game, Mitchell on a whole other level and Teague, Butler, and Flagler (who usually doesn't play as well defensively) have been fantastic.

Thamba has had a few moments where he fought for a board or collapsed down to keep an easy bucket from happening as well.

Vital, his rebounding today was big and in some really big moments too.


Game after game Mayer comes in and we go on an explosive run...Game after game.

On another note Flagler showed today why he too will be playing in the NBA. It's not the first time he has shown he can play at an elite level.

he's a plugger. No finesse whatsoever but you want him beside you if you get backed into an alley. Love that kinda player

It was clearly a tale of two halves today. Villanova outplayed Baylor in the 1st Half. Baylor played its bests 20 minutes of defense this season in the 2nd Half. Incredible that Baylor won my 11 points, while making just 3 baskets from beyond the arc. A pleasant surprise watching Adam Flagler lead the Baylor Bears in scoring with 16 points. Congratulations to Scott Drew and the Baylor Bears on reaching the Elite Eight!
