The Bears were No. 25 in the Associated Press poll and No. 21 in the USA Today Coaches poll heading into their Saturday road tilt. Now Scott Drew’s squad are receiving votes in both polls and sitting at No. 29 and No. 26 respectively.

By points, the Bears are the No. 29 team in the AP and the No. 27 team in the Coaches poll. No. 22/24 Dayton and No. 21/22 Memphis both jumped up from unranked to above the Bears knocking the Green and Gold clear out of both polls.

The Baylor Bears received 28 points in votes from the preseason USA Today Coaches Poll on Monday. That figure is good for 33rd nationally and 6th in the Big 12.
