My familiarity with Ole Miss is because I was born and raised in South Mississippi.
Here are my dad's home movies of our Christmas in Biloxi in 1955.

It was a good time to be a kid.

I left MS when I graduated high school and have lived full-time in Texas.

What's funny about old home movies is how everyone squinted because the light bar used for inside was so bright!

My great-grandfather, grandfather and father were all from Texas.
Dad married a Mississippi gal.
Marriage is a compromise. so we lived in MS, but came out to the ranch near Fort Stockton twice a year.
Got here as soon as I could!

Yes, there was no "available light" mode on a 16mm movie camera back in the day.
And you had to BUY FILM, then pay to get it processed.
