Also, kinda surprised no pure LBs signed. We lost Joe Thomas

FA CB Brian Poole is still out there. Had a great 2019, Pro Football Focus' No. 9 corner among 207 qualifiers at his position. He allowed a single score on 53 targets over 14 appearances. Had a knee injury last year but appears to be recoverd.

I really, really, really want the TE Pitts in the draft but I dont think he will get to us anyway. He has a massive upside, All Pro at a minimum I think.

Ezekiel Elliott's $12.4 million base salary in 2022 is now fully guaranteed, as is Jaylon Smith's $7.2 million base salary this season. Without the details of Keanu Neal's contract, the Cowboys have roughly $12.5 million in cap room, which means they will likely have to re-work another contract just to fit the rookie pool allocation. Since Elliott's money is guaranteed through 2022, he could be a prime candidate for a restructure, which could open up more than $6 million this season.

SI rates him as the fourth best CB. Assuming we get the Farley or Surtrain, then Horn will go. If we want two, then we may have to trade back into the first to get hiim

The Cowboys' plan for Keanu Neal right now is for him to play safety and linebacker depending on certain packages in Dan Quinn's defense, but he is not locked into one spot specifically. Having that flexibility is a bonus as to why they added him.

One of the top three cornerbacks in this year's NFL Draft - all three candidates to be taken by Dallas at No. 10 - is undergoing back surgery and will therefore miss his Pro Day, according to agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Caleb Farley will miss the workouts with other Virginia Tech as on Tuesday he will have a microdiscectomy. This is not considered a "major'' surgery, with the likely recovery time of six weeks.
