Next weekend is going to be nuts.

Dallas can win the NFC East with a win @ WAS & a Philly loss to NYG. They can climb as high as 1 if SF also loses to ARI. If SF wins, they could be 2, setting up a possible home playoff game vs Green Bay.
Philly W means they go to Tampa as 5.
Green Bay has to beat Detroit first and that isn't as easy as it usually is. If they do win then they are in regardless of what Seattle does.boognish_bear said:

The #Commanders are expected to turn back to Taylor Heinicke as the starter for Sunday’s season finale vs. the #Cowboys, but rookie QB Sam Howell is also slated to play, marking the NFL debut for the fifth-round pick, per source. Barring change of plans, this will be the setup.

Washington will start rookie Sam Howell under center Sunday against the Dallas Cowboys (12-4), coach Ron Rivera announced Wednesday. This week's game will mark Howell's first regular-season action since being selected in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, Carson Wentz will likely be inactive for the season finale.Assassin said:The #Commanders are expected to turn back to Taylor Heinicke as the starter for Sunday’s season finale vs. the #Cowboys, but rookie QB Sam Howell is also slated to play, marking the NFL debut for the fifth-round pick, per source. Dak Prescott has 24,815 passing yards in 96 games. With 185 Sunday, he ties for 3rd fastest in NFL history to 25,000 yards, per @ESPNStatsInfo.

I'd be ok with that....though I'd be kind of tempted to give Dak one more series to attempt another TD drive

Dak has the stats, but not the big playoff wins. That says it all to date.
KaVontae Turpin might be the first ever Pro Bowl player released in the same season lol

Time to pull the starters
This game doesn't matter. But the #Cowboys CANT afford to waste first down plays with Zeke runs next week.
— Marcus Mosher (@Marcus_Mosher) January 8, 2023
They haven't worked for weeks now.
It might be time to really consider moving on from Zeke this off-season. He looks pretty washed.

Dak Prescott on his play today: “Shitty, as simple as that. … It’s hard to explain it. Not good enough. … Just couldn’t get off on the right foot.” pic.twitter.com/zUGvn96EQT

Now that we know the Cowboys are the #5 in the playoffs I am rooting for the Packers to get in as the #7 seed.

Let Aaron Rodgers and Co. go to San Francisco and if they get through then to Philadelphia.
That would set Dallas up for the Vikings or Giants in the Divisional Round.

The Packers were the only team I was worried about.
Thanks Lions.
