I think McCarthy just let the clock roll and called the timeout at 3 second. but I don't understand not taking an end zone shot there. 8 seconds from the 14 is plenty of time to throw it up to Lamb or Ferg.

Absolutely. When you have a couple of folks like that, that fight for the ball, take a 5 second shot or throw it away - unless he didnt trust Dak to make a good decision

we're running stunts with our dline and its getting pressure but not getting him on the ground. that's what's allowing him out. can't really contain while running a stunt.
