I think they need to address the interior of the DL. Lots of big bodies out there that would do a 1 year ticket. You got a lot of DE. You still need a LB and a CB I think

The #Colts have had good discussions with the #Browns on acquiring Baker Mayfield.

Now that Watson is a 'free' man (but not from Civil), the offers are piling in:

The Texans are wanting three first-round picks, plus future draft capital for Watson. Both the New Orleans Saints and Falcons have sent Houston general manager Nick Caserio their trade packages in hopes of getting a deal done in the coming days.

The Falcons also might be out of the running for any of the top prospects should they acquire Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Ownership met with the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Wednesday in Atlanta of potentially joining the franchise this offseason.
In 2017, the #Texans traded two 1st round picks to the #Browns to draft Deshaun Watson Cleveland went 0-16 the following season and now bring in the QB selected with their draft pick who owns the 2nd-highest career passer rating in NFL history (104.5),

Already having Lawrence and NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Micah Parsons, the 27-year-old Dante Fowler could find himself in position to get a lot of one-on-one opportunities to get after the quarterback. In that role last season, Gregory had six sacks and 17 QB hits in 12 games. Fowler is certainly capable of putting up those kinds of numbers.

The AFC North will now feature Deshaun Watson, Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. All 26 years or younger.

Potential for a decade of elite QB play.

We were told #Bengals made a strong offer for La'el Collins this evening, there are two other teams interested in meeting with him. The #Dolphins and #Patriots

One is not the Cowboys

Tyrann Mathieu still available. Would solve the S problem and maybe return man?

Also would lessen the CB issue as Mathieu can cover so much ground

Mathieu signed a three-year, $42 million deal with the Chiefs in 2019, averaging $14 million per season. Not sure how much we want to spend or what we have left

Or do we re-sign Kazee or Kearse

Their front office moves sound a bit like ours... although I love the Fowler and Washington signings

Final thought (for now) on the Davante Adams trade: His agents Frank Bauer and Kenny Chapman confirm that the #Packers offered more money than the contract he'll sign in Las Vegas.

What do we need?

I would love a big D IL, another CB, possibly a S depending on Kearse and Kazee, a LB (Wagner or Hitchens would put a smile on my face - Wagner most definitely and Hitchens for the bucks

On OL, OG, C, possibly a TE, do we need a #3 RB?

Important contract note for Deshaun Watson, who got a 5-year, $230M contract. His base salary for 2022 is $1M, which means if he's suspended, it'll come out of that base.

So with Gallup, Lamb and Washington signed at WR, do you let Malik Turner go? He was on a 1 year deal. See who ends up on the FA junk pile or draft a new kid?

We are kinda following our plan from 2021. Keep the most important, let the rest leave. SIgn some decent players off the scrap heap and draft like a SOB

BTW - the scrap heap is starting to look very interesting

Starting to get the impression that the fans liked Randy Gregory more than than the Cowboys did. Replacing him with Fowler at a fraction of the overall price was certainly sweet

The Cowboys wouldn't have offered at all to match and kept him so long if they didn't love him too. I think it's more, from the fan's perspective, that that deal had all the signs of the front office screwing it up along with the rest of free agency so far. And I am still asking why in the hell do we have a tag on Schultz with how depressed the TE market has looked so far.

I think FA is not going nearly as badly as you do I guess. Collins was an anchor on the right side, but the wrong kind of anchor. Great move letting him go. Cooper was always gonna be gone, too much money at one position. Signing James Washiinton was an excellent choice. I expect him to turn into Daks security blanket in a short time. Didnt take me much to tdurn on Gregory, especially when we got Fowler.

Considering how much we were above the cap a couple of weeeks ago, now we are Team Cap Space plus at: $26,901,613. We have space for Bobby Wagner or Anthony Hitchens or one of the CBs we talked about earlier.

No one else
Winning by cheating is just as impressive as winning fairly, probably even more so. Your opponent was better than you in every way, and you beat them with your brain.

I would have signed OJ Howard for less and get someone who can block and catch.

I see Schultz as having a big upside. Pro Bowl material

Howard tore his Achilles two years ago and only had 14 catches last season. Sounds like he might be injured material

Bills got him, we can sit back and watch

So we need to decide on Anger (I like him bringing him back. A mil for the best Punter in our Conference?)

Damonte Kazekee, Jayron Kearse, Keanu Neel, Brent Urban

Do we want to keep RB3 Corey Clements? He has some skins. Runs hard but not a lot of escability.
