In 2017, the #Texans traded two 1st round picks to the #Browns to draft Deshaun Watson Cleveland went 0-16 the following season and now bring in the QB selected with their draft pick who owns the 2nd-highest career passer rating in NFL history (104.5),Assassin said:
Now that Watson is a 'free' man (but not from Civil), the offers are piling in:
The Texans are wanting three first-round picks, plus future draft capital for Watson. Both the New Orleans Saints and Falcons have sent Houston general manager Nick Caserio their trade packages in hopes of getting a deal done in the coming days.
The Falcons also might be out of the running for any of the top prospects should they acquire Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson. Ownership met with the three-time Pro Bowl quarterback Wednesday in Atlanta of potentially joining the franchise this offseason.
#Chiefs free agent Melvin Ingram has a mutual interest to return to KC and there has been interest from the #Dolphins #Colts and #Cowboys #NFLFreeAgency

Their front office moves sound a bit like ours... although I love the Fowler and Washington signingsBearForce said:Makes sense.Assassin said:
The #Colts have had good discussions with the #Browns on acquiring Baker Mayfield.
And none of them are coming here...don't do this to yourselfAssassin said:
CBs Stefon GIlmore, Joe Haden, Patrick Peterson and Donte Jackson are all still available in the Free Agent market

Randy Gregory missed five games last season. Micah Parsons had a sack in EVERY one of them and seven sacks total in those games.

In fact, Parsons had MORE sacks in just those five games than he did in all 12 of the games that Gregory played.
Just saying.

Starting to get the impression that the fans liked Randy Gregory more than than the Cowboys did. Replacing him with Fowler at a fraction of the overall price was certainly sweet
I think FA is not going nearly as badly as you do I guess. Collins was an anchor on the right side, but the wrong kind of anchor. Great move letting him go. Cooper was always gonna be gone, too much money at one position. Signing James Washiinton was an excellent choice. I expect him to turn into Daks security blanket in a short time. Didnt take me much to tdurn on Gregory, especially when we got Fowler.BearForce said:Assassin said:

The Cowboys wouldn't have offered at all to match and kept him so long if they didn't love him too. I think it's more, from the fan's perspective, that that deal had all the signs of the front office screwing it up along with the rest of free agency so far. And I am still asking why in the hell do we have a tag on Schultz with how depressed the TE market has looked so far.
Assassin said:
btw - I liked the Tag on Schultz. Knowing they were getting rid of Cooper, heres a kid that caught 78 tiouugh passes for you
Who would you have tagged

I see Schultz as having a big upside. Pro Bowl materialBearForce said:Assassin said:

I would have signed OJ Howard for less and get someone who can block and catch.
#Cowboys could go with multiple veteran pass-rushers in free agency to help offset loss of Randy Gregory. They've got Dante Fowler in the fold, and there's interest in Jason Pierre-Paul, as well.
