The Cowboys didn't have a practice Wednesday. It was a mock game, a walk-thru bonus session ahead of Monday night's game against Cincinnati.
Cornerback Trevon Diggs, tight end Jake Ferguson and defensive end Marshawn Kneeland all took part. That's a good sign that the three should be able to return against the Bengals. Cornerback Amani Oruwariye, who had been on the injured list,
also had his 21-day practice window activated, meaning he should be back soon.
DeMarcus Lawrence did not have his practice window activated, a clear indication it's unlikely he'll return Monday night. But he's ramping up his work off to the side. A return against Carolina in Week 15 is the more likely target.
Receiver Brandin Cooks and CeeDee Lamb, left tackle Tyler Guyton, linebacker Nick Vigil and right guard Zack Martin didn't take the field Wednesday. There's no real concern on Cooks and Lamb.
