These wins are disastrous long-term in more ways than one.

The worst of which is that Jerry probably now firmly believes this is a well-constructed team that just got bit too hard by the injury bug...which is delusional.

Yep. Jerry has done that before and he's just not capable of honest self-evaluation. So Jerry says we just missed and can do better next year even without upgrades. Combine that with lost positioning on the draft and these wins are a disaster. And, adding to all that, we refuse to see if Lance can actually play QB

Sounds like CeeDee is getting shut down for the rest of the season.

Hope he's getting it fixed. Is it a torn rotator cuff? I had that surgery when they rebuilt my arm after that bike crash (cuff was the opposite arm). Took me about 6 months to get it good

Is Deion a viable NFL coach? I kinda see Jerry levitating toward him

My guess that way of thinking would change if it were the Cowboys.

I am not sure Deion wants to deal with adults.

Lets hope we fail miserably vs the Eagles tomorrow. If we work hard, lose the next two, we have an outside chance at at Top 10 pick

One thing about Cooper Rush I dont like. First play, Eagles bring LBs up on our left side well before the play, the running play is directly to the left side. No audible.

I think our best bet for a draft spot is 11 or 12.

No way we will get to the 9, with 2 games left. We might get to 10, but it would take a ton of factors we don't control to get there including what New Orleans opponents do. We have a better percentage vs the NFC West teams (two of them) assuming we lose two and they lose two. So it would come down to Miami and Indy who have a better SOS than us.

11 or 12 would probably get us Banks (assuming Williams from LSU goes first at OT) or Jeanty according to the mocks I am seeing.

I keep hearing from guys I trust that theses OT are not first round guys. Might want to avoid them if you can.

Not sure I would agree with that other then Bank's knees. Any of the QBs in this draft would be more likely to fail.

Cavanaugh, Voch, Dalton Miller, Broaudus, could all be wrong but man that's a lot of good dudes not feeling these OTs early.

People will reach for a QB. At this point for me it's Jenty, Ebuka/Burden, Walker, or bail if you can before taking one of those OTs.

Not sure I agree with you on getting a WR, waaay down the list of needs to me. LBs like Walker would be a definite need. An OT, possibly OC but not a great draft there. We could always use a CB in case Diggs gets taken out again. Take a shot on a QB later in the draft and hope for a Purdy type falling to us. Or like you mentioned, trade back and maybe pick up a higher pick for next year. We are doomed as long as Dak's contract exists, our only hope is if he retires. His salary would not be paid, only guaranteed money (from what I have read)

I'm not really looking at 2025 as much as building the OL and DL/LBs for a push in two-three years. IMO, that Dak contract has up up against a ledge. We have to draft well. Get the big uglies. Tolbert will be fine for a year or two. Rush has no problem going to him. As a matter of fact, Rush has better spreads to all WRs/TE's across the board then Dak. Dak seems to lock in on one player and that's that

You need two number ones in this league and Tolbert is a 3 on a playoff team. On the OL you probably only need a RT as Beebe can play RG and Hoffman can play C. I'm not drafting a RT in the top 15.

I dont think we are a playoff team. IMO, we are not a 12 win team anymore, even with a #2wr. Too much of the cap invested in too few players.

I would trade Parsons for FUTURE high picks. This draft is so-so in our positions of need. And we cannot pay Micah or the cap is totally shot.

BTW - not a great fan of Guyton so far. Waaay too many penalties on him, gets beat by both bull and speed rushers. He might be better at OG than OT
