How many BU players would take it personal if an opponent did that? Under Briles, you would have a fight. Under Aranda I don't think they care. Maybe that is part of the issue.

Baker Mayfield slammed an OU flag right in the middle of the Ohio State logo after they won there and nothing really happend.

Well Iowa State did that to them in Norman a couple weeks later.

Yeah, not caring, low key and turn the other cheek seems to be working well for us. If you changed the jerseys you couldn't tell the difference between BU and OSU.

Just saying it's not some huge slight they are making it to be, less so in CU's case.

It is motivation. At this point pissing on.a spark plug would be a good idea compared to the motivation levels of the last two weeks.

Bingo

People act like Prime Time is not in the business of finding small things he can use to motivate 19 year olds to go out on the field and kick butt

We should try it some time

Got it.

Wait wait, I thought the new narrative here was 2021 happened because CMR was so good at recruiting too.

Matt Rhule found guys he could develop. He was good at that. And , he was great at developing a team that played tough, rough , smash mouth football. That and a lot of belief allowed them to out perform what they were on paper. I don't like that Rhule always wanted an NFL gig, but I believe he is perfectly suited to the college game. And he is suited to an underdog rising to a champion. If you want to see his accomplishments, it takes more than his record . Just look at yr 2 and 3 vs yr 1. Unbelievable turnaround.

He also didn't play a ranked team until week 9 and lost to OU twice and the Cotton Bowl. That team has a nice opportune schedule. It was not the rough dominant team many remember. So let's be honest here.

This board never cease to amaze me with bad bad takes. Teaff had great teams lose to San Jose St and Rice.

The fact we lost to Liberty Duke and UTSA validates we just weren't very good. This conspiracy theory that we had a championship level roster yet Rhule threw the season is maddening.

0-2 so far. Trust the process

So, why does it have to be respectfully? If the opposing team and Coach are being *******s. A little elbows in the corners (to use a hockey expression) seems fail to me. It seems that Rhule can do what he wants, Col responds and they are the *******s.

I didn't see anything controversial by anyone at the mid field . But perhaps the video was actually from post incident.

Does Neb walk to midfield before every game?

Rhule actually contradicted himself in that clip above. He said a little later in his statement, "when I say we were praying, I don't mean we were actually praying…..I have Muslim players, non believers …….

Yeah....he's sounding a little shifty on this whole scenario. That did look like a midfield prayer circle we sometimes see.

Seems like those normally happen after the game rather than before....but I'm not sure

Were some of the teams not ranked because he beat them?
