Oregon State is really damn good. They could definitely make it. Washington State is a longer shot, but they're playing with a chip on their shoulder right now.

Aren't they in the same division? Wouldn't that preclude them from playing each other in the championship game?

He definitely has that aspect to his personality. My brother played at FSU, said in locker room he was a good guy in all his dealings with him. But he is about Deion.

This **** with the Sanders alienate more and more folks each week who otherwise want to root for this team? Team and CU fans will spoon it up but will the media and casual fans sour on this?

Y'all understand the kid isn't talking about anything Rhule said yesterday. I believe I recall Rhule criticizing Sanders and his personality in the context of being a coach either in the spring or summer. I don't remember the specifics though. But I think that is what Sanders son was referring to. It's a legit gripe. Coaches probably shouldn't say things publicly that are personal attack type statements against fellow coaches.

I remember one cosch… maybe Pittsburgh… cant remember exactly… made some public comments disliking the way Sanders handled his first meeting with the existing players.

Brent Venables did say something… hardly inflammatory. Never heard what Rhule actually said.

How many BU players would take it personal if an opponent did that? Under Briles, you would have a fight. Under Aranda I don't think they care. Maybe that is part of the issue.

Matt Rhule found guys he could develop. He was good at that. And , he was great at developing a team that played tough, rough , smash mouth football. That and a lot of belief allowed them to out perform what they were on paper. I don't like that Rhule always wanted an NFL gig, but I believe he is perfectly suited to the college game. And he is suited to an underdog rising to a champion. If you want to see his accomplishments, it takes more than his record . Just look at yr 2 and 3 vs yr 1. Unbelievable turnaround.
