I'd only bring up Capital One Cup rankings (I didn't even know that was it's name now) if I was losing an argument. And I'd still be embarrassed.

Basketball? No
Football and Baseball yes, TCU is Baylor's daddy on the gridiron and diamond nowadays
That's essentially the reverse in baseball. I guess it's some consolation that baseball doesn't contribute, at all, to the economic wellbeing and thus advancement of an athletic department outside their own program. LSU is pretty much the only program nationwide to consistently turn a profit more than pennies year over year consistently, and even then they only clear about the $1 million mark.
Football depends on how you look at it. We have more trophies since they joined the Big 12, they have our number in head to head, we're pretty even otherwise Big 12-wise.
Sports are cyclical. Two years ago we won Big 12/Sugar Bowl and MBB national titles within 12 months of each other. This too shall pass. Embarrassing thread title in any case.

We'll be 0-2 against them in basketball regular season next year.

A little bit of an overreaction there. Maybe you ought to go to the TCU site. You'd fit right in.

Well played.
TCU will beat us in football as long as we still have Blake Shapen and Briles is going to light us up. If Sawyer Robertson gets the nod we have a small chance.
We have a long way to go in baseball.
Give me 2-0 or 3-0 if we play them in the big 12 tournament in MBB and 2-0 or 3-0 in WBB.
Most importantly we will crush them in acro tumbling and equestrian. I care just almost as much about these sports as baseball.
Capital One list is compiled by Jennifer Garner.
and they were far superior in football. Basketball was fairly close.Reverend said:
Within the past year (in the sports that count):
Football- they were better
MBB- we were better
WBB- we were better (a lot)
Baseball- they were better (a lot)
I don't know about track, softball, volleyball, golf, etc.

What is it since TCUs arrival in the B12? I'm sure BU still leads but anything before their arrival isn't really a fair comparison
Currently yes, but there have been periods of dominance back & forth by both sides since this rivalry started; Tcu's recent edge of only 5 games has come in the last 8 years.BearTruth13 said:

Starting back at the beginning Baylor dominated the Frogs, with Tcu not getting their 1st win until the 11th game played. Then the tide turned in the Frogs favor for some years before the Bears got back to their winning ways & took 7 out of 8 games, followed a few years later by a 5-1-1 run. The late 50's into the 60's saw good times for Tcu while BU started to sink under a few diff coaches before hitting rock bottom under Bill Beall. Grant Teaff's arrival in Waco turned the rivalry heavily back to the Bears side as the Legendary coach went 16-5 vs the Frogs. Shortly after, the SWC split and the rivalry came to a screeching halt. Since its revival in 2006, Tcu has been the pretty princess with an 11-4 record vs good ole BU. History tells me the Bears will soon return to dominance as Tcu's recent streak (& luck) has just about run out.

They do have to wear 66-7 or whatever it was forever. The ultimate sister kisser

That… plus it doesn't bode well for the Big12 going forward being considered for the Playoffs, even with the new format.

Getting considered for the CFPis fine because the Big 12 champ just has to be a top 6 conference champion, but if of course doesn't bode well for the Big 12's chances at a national title - however - that's been the case for awhile now and the losses of UT/OU further contribute to that.

Yeah, watch. The SEC and B10 will make arguments that the SEC deserves 3 each, we will be fighting for last 2!

The Big 12 just needs to get it done on the field. For the sake of the 2024 schedule (first year of expanded CFP), the Big 12 has P5 games against Utah (x2), Oregon, Arkansas (x2), Illinois, Pitt (x2), Penn State, Iowa, Arizona, Stanford and Florida. In the grand scheme of FBS football, that's not necessarily murderer's row, and so the Big 12 must win the majority of those games if it wants to be taken seriously when it comes to CFP selection opportunities.
