His results would say otherwise. But yes was a good half for him hugely benefitted by an interception putting us in the RZ
His results wouldn't say otherwise. His offensive efficiency rankings the last three years are as follows ...

2022 -- 25
2021 -- 34
2020 -- 2

He's a good OC by any objective measure.

Im withholding judgement. Yes,much improved but Utah isn't the same team with backup QB then the complete team that won Pac 12. Also missing two running back starters But yes. We are playing bettervand improved greatly over last week

Big XII has a chance to really make a statement this week after BU, TCU, and Tech all crapped the bed last week. Baylor, Tech, and Texas all playing top 15 teams. ISU and Cincinnati also with decent matchups and OSU on the road against another future conference foe in ASU

Wondering if the Utes will ditch their game plan and just start throwing it all over the place in the second half(?)

Hoping the 10 points we left on the field in the first half doesn't come back to bite us.

So it would seem but let's not get ahead of ourselves. There still are two more quarters left. Also, the Utes were playing a little better in Q2.

They are missing some key skill players for sure....but what was encouraging to me is that in the trenches we seemed to hold our own on both sides of the ball.

What had me most worried about last week was how a Sunbelt team manhandled our lines.

Exactly.

I don't have confidence we'll do it on this drive..but if our D keeps getting stops hopefully we'll pinch one in and get that 2 score advantage.
