And Texas Big 12 Championship. On a serious note, WVU and KSU will be a handful. Not impossible but a lot.

K-State and possibly the Mountaineers seem the toughest remaining challenges, and maybe TCU given our history with them.

But having said that, they are definitely winnable for a Baylor team which plays like it did in the 4th quarter against UCF. They were tough, consistent and error-free, a true joy to watch.

We could theoretically win the rest. We can just as easy lose out. This Saturday will be very telling

I'm not going to predict the rest of the season's outcome. But WVU was forced to keep Neal Brown another season due to buyout expenses and look at him now. BTW if the rest of the season is like the first half of UCF or UT game, I'm not endorsing no changes (I will say I don't believe that is going to be the case however). But I'm just saying look at Brown now.

WV is a great story but the only team worth any salt they've beaten is TCU and that's a rather mediocre TCU squad. WV also benefits from not playing Tx and I believe they also miss out on KU. Extremely easy schedule.

We've gone from "fire everyone" to "we can make to the Big 12 championship", based on 1.5 quarters of football.

And I love it

Tylor shough not playing and Morton is the starter I think I like our chances

Sliding -- especially late -- leaves you more vulnerable and takes all control out of the hit you take. You're better off diving head first away from/under the contact or running out of bounds when the opportunity arises.

I'm here for the positivity. We know we can win many games if we play like we did when our backs were against the wall.

I still don't trust our D...but let's just hope we stay healthy and get better...(I'm not even sure what we do competently defensively)

Offensively (after the first three drives) we FINALLY looked like the offense we thought we would have all along. Line play, rushing game...imaginative play calls w Blake...fingers crossed that Grimes rethinks things having witnessed that.

I don't think we really know how good we are yet. We've only seen seven quarters with our healthy offense, and have passed really well in that time. And our defense finally showed some signs of life against UCF. If that unit can build on that second-half effort, we're certainly good enough to compete and win games in this year's Big 12.

But we'll need to come into games better prepared and play consistently with the intensity and execution levels we saw in the second half on Saturday if we hope to start stacking wins.

Seems like most of our success in the last 2 years has been on the road, will they show up in Waco?

As much as we're penciling in wins, every team on our schedule is looking at us and penciling in a win. I think we'll split in the middle. Either 4-3 or 3-4 to finish.

Winning out is doable if we keep improving, maintain energy, Shapen stays healthy, we figure out how to sack the opposing teams quarterback, and Grimes doesn't rely on run, run, pass every freakin drive until we're down 28

We actually sacked Ewers more than anyone they have played this season has.

I think the only game that isn't realistically winnable is @KSU. The only game we should reasonably count as a W is vs. Houston. Everything else is a tossup.

We could easily win all five in between those two games if we play like we did in the last 20 minutes on Saturday. We could easily lose all five if we play like we did the first 40.

1 game at a time. I would love nothing better than to be 6-3 and playing meaningful football in November. But based on recent history, we're also as likely to be 2-7, coming to grips with not playing in a bowl game.

I'm just going to enjoy this week drinking hopium and making plans for the Big 12 title game rematch with UT until kickoff Saturday.

The win was fun but we still have issues. We might beat piss poor Texas Tech and Cincinatti but that's about it.

Iowa st as well. Houston and Iowa st are the worst teams in the conference (possibly ok st too but we don't play them).

Tcu isn't that good but the program is completely shot when playing them. Believe it when they prove that. K state on road is tough. Shame because this is the easiest schedule I can remember

For what it's worth, after our win at UCF, College Football News elevated Baylor from #94 in FBS to #58.

They have Texas State at #57, Texas Tech at #60, and UCF at #61 (dropped from #34).

Also for what its worth, after the UCF win, CBS Sportsline elevated Baylor from #72 to #70
They dropped UCF 4 spots from #39 to #43
