I understand that, but if we can't block then you might as well run between the tackles. It's less terrain to cover to get 1 yard.

2011-2016 Baylor - you go for it on 4th and 3 or less because those OL's could shove people around.

grimes ****ing wanker of zone block offense?

The only way they should do 4th and 1 is to spread them all out and either throw it short or do a QB run up the middle if its open

We constantly run this offense despite our current personnel and we are not good. The only success we have had is in a straight spread. Because that is not Grimes offense we go back to this mess and bog down. At this point let's play hurry up four wr offense and just pray the OL holds up or Blake throws with minimal time. This OL is so bad. He was forced to scramble early in this drive with a three man rush.

Without a running game, our passing game won't work.

We can throw 50 times and we'll get our asses blown out.

Grimes' situational playcalling has always been terrible. Tries to get way too creative. This entire coaching staff is filled with guys that overthink things. Football is not a difficult game. Recruit big fast guys and then knock the crap out of somebody
