1969 Tech vs Baylor game. It was in Lubbock and we got slaughtered 41-7. This was Bill Beall's perfect season, 0-10. A real shame for some of the great players on the team like Ed Marsh

Final game at Floyd Casey in 2013. Goodley (#5) scored the first TD of the game early 3Q on an 11 yard pass. Probably the post-TD celebration. This was before the ice fog descended on the field.
The end of an era. We had no idea how things would end. That is for sure.

I remember that game. Just 2 years later, 1981, Clemson went undefeated and won the National Championship. They were pretty salty in 1979.

We could use a lot more GURADs today on our team like Botchey Koch. You gotta be a monster to play that position.

My Dad was in school from 1929 to 1933, so he was in school with all on that 1930 team and most likely was at that game. Although played football in high school, he lettered at Baylor in basketball.
Joined BaylorFans in 1999 under username jumpinjoe. Have always been Jumpinjoe. Proud 4 Year Baylor letterman and 1968 graduate and charter member of Quartermiler U, produced school record in 400 IH.
