With a poor run game we have to do pop passes and east and west stuff at times. Reminds of what briles did alot his first few seasons here.

That was about the first time all game we've blocked a pass to the sidelines.

Kelsey Johnson has played a hell of a game today. Two big first-down catches and the block that sprung that TD.

Agree. But I also wonder if that was attempt to recover from the ToD? I'm ok with it. Especially since we need more reps up against the line. Write it off as practice.

That's my mindset as well. He's addressed every criticism I had of him last season. I'm not going to nitpick because he's not perfect.

I remember when we had complimentary football. That was fun to watch. Even when it's only half the time, it's a great thing. Still not there in 2023.

Really excited if he can build off of this season he will be a top qb in the big 12 next season I would think
